home page of Scotland's Culture includes the following areas:
In the top left hand corner of the page, there is a link to
a text version of Scotland's Culture, this version of the
site contains no graphics or images and is accessible to screen
readers and other adaptive technologies. To link back from
the text version of the page click on the graphic version
link in the top left hand corner.
Below the banner, the navigation bar offers links to the main
areas of the service. The navigation bar is available from
every page of Scotland's Culture. Within the
area of the service, the navigational links are replaced by
tabs.

The simple search facility has
a search box to the right hand side. Enter a word or search

this will take you to a number of electronic resources found
within the Scotland's Culture service.
To the right hand side of the screen are the service's spotlights,
these may be direct links to external resources of cultural
significance or highlighting new content within the service's
links to electronic resources. All spotlight resources will
open in a new window.
The bottom of the page has information such as a link to the
partners involved in Scotland's Culture, legal requirements
of the service, disclaimer and copyright, and a contact email
for reaching the service team. |

Some users may find that parts of Scotland’s Culture
are inaccessible from within an institution that has firewall
protection. This may be because parts of Scotland’s
